Jayden's Dev-Log 05


This week was all just mainly map development , so I had temporarily put all of my assets to the side and so the models are done. It's just the textures and high poly that need to be finished.

The AirLock prefabs are done and the open and close mechanic were added to them as well as the ceilings and colliders. I also had completed a bunch of different hallway prefabs. I also had noticed that every wall prefab had a collider in it so each room had over 20-50+ colliders per room, which would drastically drop the game's performance. So I went in and deleted that collider and put in one big huge collider in each prefab room.

I re-done a bunch of the prefabs and made things a lot smaller because the map was still far too big. For instance I had made the Airlock Entrance Room half the size it once was and I took at least a third of every other prefab room off them to be smaller.
